How I Use It

• I use this to app to quickly record audio when listening to foreign language videos to create flashcards later. All audio files are saved in the same directory, and recording is as simple as pressing 'F3' for me. The guide to setting this up is in this video
• I also use it take to take screenshots that are copied to clipboard and saved in a screenshots directory. It allows me to easily save my favorite moments in videos for later.
• Incredibly useful for taking screenshots of text and converting it to text in your clipboard. For example, a lot of videos I watch for language learning have hardcoded subtitles, so I have to manually type them out if I want to add them to a flashcard. With shareX, however, I simply press Ctrl+Shift+S and it extracts the text for me!
